Mr. Hansen is an entrepreneur and has spent over a decade in the Sustainability industry. For the past six years he has been buying and selling scrap and iron ore. Jay also worked with Walmart to create a corrugated pallet program so the associates would no longer have to pick up heavy wood pallets. When pallets broke down, they were easily recycled. Jay also created a bucket program for Walmart that enabled them reuse 3,000,000 buckets per year that they had been taking to the landfills – turning “waste” into profit.
Prior to entering into the Sustainability industry, Jay was the co-founder of and later sold a multi-million dollar diet company located in San Diego, CA.
