Steve Schroeder is a global chemicals logistics and M&A expert with 15 years in Manufacturing and Financial Services. Schroeder is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Atlas Refinery, Inc., a specialty chemical manufacturer of lubricants and tanning agents for the global leather and textile industries. Schroeder is responsible for operations, R&D and business development; with a focus on managing Atlas’ global marketing and distribution network. Schroeder has experience managing supply chains, distribution networks and customer relationships in over 30 countries around the world.
Prior to joining Atlas, Schroeder was an investment banker at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. in New York City. At JPMorgan, Schroeder worked the Equity Capital Markets group within the Investment Bank advising public and private companies across multiple sectors (oil & gas, utilities, industrials, healthcare and insurance). Primary focus was on originating and executing equity capital raising efforts (i.e., initial public offerings, secondary stock offerings, acquisition financing, etc.).
Schroeder also serves on the Board of Directors at Leather Industries of America; represents Atlas in the United States Hides, Skins & Leather Association; and is a member of the Lumen Institute in Manhattan.
