Steven Kruse

Stephen Kruse has more than 16 years experience providing a wide range of raw materials to both domestic and international clients worldwide, including: scrap metal, used rail, heavy melting steel and iron ore.

Prior to entering commodity metals business, Steve spent over 21 years in the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods industries.  He had worked extensively with Walmart and several Fortune 500 CPG companies to provide leadership and management to sales teams while facilitating growth strategies.

He has comprehensive experience in several aspects of business operations throughout multiple divisions of Walmart. Under his leadership, his teams have successfully developed and implemented retail strategies in support of business goals and objectives. Steve has been instrumental in the development and execution of key Walmart initiatives from performing in-depth analysis of prices, market penetration, product positioning and new line extension possibilities to overseeing all logistic planning and execution.

Prior to joining Walmart, Steve led the development of the first prepaid phone card program in the United States in the mass channel with Walmart – exceeding revenues of $1 billion in under 5 years.
